Summary

Karbonn S5 titanium is in second place behind the Micromax Canvas HD as a budget Android smartphone. He suffers from erratic operation and a terrible camera, but offers a nice large screen and ease of use. If the HD Canvas is not available for one reason or another, it would do. A good alternative.

Karbonn S5 Titanium packs an impressive amount of hardware under the hood. The quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 1.2 GHz above the plant, of course. Complementing that is 1 GB of RAM and a 2000 mAh battery. Titanium has a large five-inch IPS display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels and a pixel density of 220 ppi. It has 1.4 GB of internal memory directly accessible by the user and supports microSD cards up to 32GB. Imaging is provided by an 8 megapixel camera that can shoot 720p at 30fps.
